Miles Davis for Bb Instruments / Transposition for beginners

I wanted to post the transcriptions of Miles Davis I've done so far in the correct key for a trumpet to play in.  Transposition is an important concept, and is a system designed to negotiate the difficulty of instruments who are not naturally tuned to the key of C playing together with those that are.  The trumpet is a Bb transposing instrument.
For those of you who don't know, that meant moving the concert key into the transposed key suitable for trumpets, in this case transposing from concert up by a major 2nd.
You might not be aware that a guitar is an octave transposing instrument, you may have noticed an octave transposing clef on guitar parts.  This means that the guitar part is written an octave higher than it actually sounds.
I hope any trumpeters out there enjoy these take downs, and I'll try and always post transposed versions of solos if they happen to be really great trumpet or sax solos.

You can find all the song transcriptions on my YouTube playlist:
